The thesis focuses on foreign policy of the FPR Yugoslavia within a timeframe of 18 years, starting from 1945, and ending with 1963. The thesis covers the most important and most significant Yugoslav political moments, mainly focusing on Yugoslav relations with other countries, primarily the Communist bloc countries. The thesis examines how political events influenced foreign policy of the FPR Yugoslavia, and how they reshaped it. One of the main purposes of the thesis was to provide an answer, or a set of answers, on specific occurrences which took place during Tito's regime in the FPR Yugoslavia. The thesis was directed towards examining the political situation within the FPR Yugoslavia from 1945 to 1963, and how Yugoslavs tackled internal and external political menace, and how political menace influenced and reshaped foreign policy of the FPR Yugoslavia and how it affected the Yugoslav economy. Throughout the thesis, several objectives were achieved, such as the examination of how foreign policy of the FPR Yugoslavia was constructed and directed and what urged it for a change. In order to achieve that, the thesis was directed towards examining specific political events, occurred in the FPR Yugoslavia and in the international arena, which affected Yugoslav foreign policy to change and reshape. The most important political events which were researched in the thesis were: the economic blockade of the FPR Yugoslavia by the Cominform, and the Yugoslav part in the Hungarian revolution and the Nagy trial. These two political events directly affected not just Yugoslav foreign policy, but the Yugoslav economy as well. Validity of research is tremendous, since not so many researchers focused on such a topic. Conducted research was of descriptive nature, and provides an insight of the dynamic nature of foreign policy of the FPR Yugoslavia. Research conducted in the thesis enables a reader to understand all the political maneuvers of Josip Broz Tito, since the thesis focuses on presenting how justifiable and necessary those maneuvers indeed were. The 'played' situations within Yugoslav foreign policy present a clear picture of how strongly political events in the international arena can affect not just foreign policy of a specific country, but also the political, economic and social aspects as well.
